Trade accounts and where to buy
Use when: a customer wants to open a trade account or find a stockist.
Opening a trade account
- Check the business has an active ABN.
- Send the trade account application link by email or chat.
- Credit checks take 2 business days. Once approved, the account appears in SAP and Salesforce.
- Standard terms are 30 days from end of month. The minimum first order is $250 ex GST.
Where to buy
- Retail: Bunnings, Mitre 10 and independent hardware stores.
- Trade: Bostik trade distributors in each state. Find the nearest by postcode in the stockist list.
- Stationery (Blu Tack and glue sticks): Officeworks and most supermarkets.
Escalate to the Sales team when
- The customer expects to spend more than $50,000 a year (assign a Territory Manager).
- The customer asks for project pricing or a tender quote.
